The Future, Metaverse, Bots and Sex Dolls

metaverse bots and sex dolls

For close to two years now, Coronavirus has been with us, successfully shaping a new world we never thought we'd be in. What started as a two-week hiatus has turned into months of anguish and, for the better part, adapting to the unforeseen changes. And while there's still hope for a better future and a Covid-free society, the pandemic has shed light on a possible future with love dolls and sexbots and virtual worlds being a centerpiece of our day-to-day lives.

This article will look into some of the indicators that the future can only get better in the sex doll industry. How has the pandemic shifted the tides? And even better, why did the demand for sex dolls skyrocket during the forced lockdowns? These questions will help shed light on a future that's becoming.

Virtual Worlds and The Metaverse?

Even before Mack Zuckerberg's 81-minute video disquisition, the world had been slowly learning more about the virtual world and what it means to the future of human interaction. The creation of a computer-simulated environment where people can participate in communal activities and relate with others more effectively is beckoning.

The metaverse especially has been described as a successor of mobile internet. And with emerging technologies like cryptocurrency, Virtual Reality hardware, NFTs, and next-level gaming platforms, it'll be exciting to see what these developments mean for the sex doll world.

Besides developing tech-laden sex dolls, we envision a future with open and proud environments with sex-positive talks and experiments around the relevance of sex dolls and robots to humans. And with simplified payments via cryptocurrency, buying a sex doll will be as easy as ever before and, importantly, very confidential.

Do we want to touch and feel?

Could the pandemic have made people open to the idea of owning and using sex dolls? Well, the numbers support this line of thought. People who were previously on the fence, unsure whether to adopt the 'new' way of life or not, are now proud love doll owners.

You see, after WHO declared Corona Virus a pandemic, most nations around the world imposed and enforced lockdowns. People were required to work from home. What's more, restaurants, clubs, and major sporting events were postponed. So, with the prospect of spending months locked in the house, it didn't take time before the orders and inquiries started coming in record numbers. We had to expand our workforce and push ourselves to the max to meet the unforeseen demand.

Overall, the pandemic has softened the hearts of many, making them more open and receptive to love dolls and sexbots. And even after the pandemic, we anticipate people won't ditch the love for sex dolls and bots. Unlike the mandatory sanitizer in the store, the love for sex dolls will stay – the benefits are way too many to just let go!

We're Not Through It All Yet!

It'd be naïve for us to think the pandemic is over. Of course, developing and rolling out the vaccine helps, but it doesn't mean the coast is clear. After all, you can still get the virus after vaccination. Right? So, with that in mind, it's only right to say sex dolls are not going away anytime soon.

Luckily, we've held up well over the past 15+ months, and with the rising technology, the quality of sex dolls and bots will only go up. And what better way to stay ahead of schedule and prepare for potential lockdowns and social isolation than get a doll?

So, even after close to two years living with Covid, sex dolls will remain relevant moving on to the future. In fact, we predict that people will now move to more advanced and realistic sex robots to quench the unending thirst for pleasure.

Tech Age and Sex Bots

As stressed before, the pandemic saw one of the busiest shifts for sex doll vendors. Besides working around the clock, we had to hire more people to help with the pile of orders and inquiries. This unforeseen surge in sales induced healthy competition among sex doll manufacturers, pushing them to the limit. And in a bid to outdo the competition, the manufacturers employ the latest technology to woo the consumer who are looking for more than sex in dolls, many  are craving company and to not to feel alone.

Coincidentally, we're in a century that's seen the greatest advancements in technology. So, what are the odds? I think we're a lucky generation that's just getting ready to experience the best in the sex doll world jointly with virtual worlds the metaverse and robotics?

The pandemic has been a great eye-opener and maybe even a blessing in disguise. The enforced lockdowns and isolation measures did shake the industry, ultimately bringing the best out of it. It also made people more open to change, a positive in what has been for the longest time a stigmatized topic. So, in a future that promises a healthy selection of advanced sex dolls and robots interacting with virtual worlds and Metaverse, I hope we're there to enjoy the blessing!

Since I had bought my first realdoll from Abyss, almost exactly 20 yrs ago, the sexdoll business has evolved a global billion market and turned mainstream. Evolution is not linear but comes in small and occasionally profound and gamechanging steps, whether in nature or technology. Without doubt, the fusion of high end dolls with advanced mechatronics means one major gamechanger that will lead the business into a tremendously exciting future. I wished I was healthy and some thirty yrs younger so that I could marvel at the further evolution of mere sex toys into companions capable of (more or less) fully replacing human partners. Personally, I do not see any threat to mankind but rather benefits, as for over population and increasing isolation and loneliness in a world ruled by digital media. That said, at least as long as dolls aren’t fertile they are to be considered the most charming way of birth control. ;-) Metaverse is unstoppable and the run for market leadership only accelerates the advance in doll manufacturing and related robotics. As for hitherto existing dolls I cannot but confirm the complaints above: The dolls’ weight is simply too much to handle for an average guy, let alone for elder or handicapped folks. I mean, it’s one thing to dress up and pose a 35+ kg dead mass for photography but sharing more intimate moments with it is an entirely different thing. Sixtynining with a 40 kg doll is just great if you have a thing for being smothered into oblivion…and if you survive you’d rather have MMA sort of grappling skills to make it out from beneath her. I can tell from experience and that’s why I can’t wait for one dollkind where I could ultimately croak in distress “Baby, would you get off me, aargh…pretty please!” Well, a doll that’s smart enough to cope with my request may eventually have a mind of its own and disagree: “Nope, I’d rather go again, Honey”. Too bad I’m too old to still meet one selfish sex robot. Joking aside, making dolls a bit lighter should be among future goals in the industry. The reason is obvious: a considerable number of potential customers refrain from purchasing a doll because they cannot or must not move anything as heavy as 35 kg or more, because of health issues. On the other hand, a 100 cm childlike or midget like doll is not everyone’s cup of tea. William’s approach of infusing styrofoam into the inner parts sounds like a good idea to me. Why not offer lifelike “heavyweights” and dolls with less realistic lower weight too?
One major question is: how should the industry keep future dolls with sophisticated AI, kybernetics and mechatronics affordable? The only conclusion is: they can’t. At about 10.000 USD today’s high end dolls are not designed for the average purse any longer and the price gap between conventional and top-of-the-range sexbots will be astronomical in the next few decades. There will be folks ready to save up a decade’s worth of income to make their dreams of one fully compatible companion come true. The vast majority of aspirants will be nothing left but to wait for the rare occasion of a second hand sale. Different times take different solutions to different challenges. Social distancing is by far not restricted to measures against the current pandemic. Social distancing had begun long before SARS-Cov-2 was cooked up in a population of brainless little chinese bats. And social distancing will stay when the virus is gone (which is actually not very likely to occur). Increasing social isolation and the introduchtion of affordable and yet stunningly lifelike looking TPE-dolls proved the actual booster to the industry. The impact of the virus may have promoted sales numbers but it’s a mayfly’s effect. The socially inherent isolation will last and inevitably increase and that’s why I think that doll business will keep on flourishing and progress in doll evolution will be breathtakingly fast in the times to come. Cheers

Interaction : that’s the way the doll industry should look into the future development. Weather virtual or included into the doll itself combined with cyber-intelligence can really revolutionized the sex or rather the geisha like industry. It is not only covid related but people generally they want and they tend to live their own life and "not complaining and always willing " partner would be more than welcomed.

I agree with the dolls being heavy, I seen them in movies in videos, and they are stunning, as a doll owner I found that they are very beneficial for us if we suffered ED, if you are able to be sexually involved with something that looks like a woman, feels like a woman in every since of the word, I highly recommend one. I’ve have Darcy for 3 yrs, I admit that I throughly love being intimate with her, and since it was recommend by a urologist to treat my ED from a noncombat injury the benefits are worth it. Bathing a doll that is a struggle, I found its easier to get in the tub with her because they have to be maintained, id love to have a 2nd doll but my wife says we have no place to put 3 dolls (I got her a doll)

your dolls are too heavy…I’m a disabled vet with an injured spine…I have two dolls at100cm with flat chests and they are too heavy…can you make them lighter, like they did concrete ? By infusing the material with Styrofoam beads or something similar ? We (Other Disabled Vets), love your dolls looks I and many others like me, need them to be lighter so we can maintain them.

I’d say the metaverse is a good idea I’m sure lots of folks would feel way safer or more confident to buy dollars in a virtual world setting honestly. I know I’ve had fun couple of time with my vr and doll so made it that much more surreal it feeling in my opinion.
